Subject: | UJER in Madoff suits |
(with apologies for cross posting)
Is anyone aware of any Madoff-related cases in either England or the Commonwealth where the trustee is framing his claim against Madoff investors as an unjust enrichment action? (i.e. Investor who profited from Madoff scheme was unjustly enriched at the expense of investor who lost money to Madoff)
Any information or citations in this direction would be most useful.
Thank you
P.S. Cases that rest on fraud or knowing receipt are also of interest, but to a lesser extent than strait up UJER claims.
